Since joining Sky in 2009, I’ve had several different roles and moved between the Marketing and Sales departments. Today I work as part of the Marketing team with additional responsibility for social media. Because of the flat hierarchies within Sky, I’ve had a lot of freedom to move around and create the career path that best suited me. That’s because Sky is an open-minded place where every employee is respected to do what’s right for them.
Currently, I’m responsible for helping to create content and strategies that appear on our digital channels and social platforms. I want to ensure that we’re producing content that increases awareness of Sky and turns people into happy and loyal Sky customers. It’s an exciting challenge full of so many possibilities.
Apart from my inspiring colleagues, the great team spirit and fun atmosphere, what makes the Vienna office a fantastic place to work is how beautifully designed it is. The modern architecture and the view of the Danube on the 10th floor is breathtaking. I love working at Sky because of the new opportunities that present themselves. New products, new competitors, changes in sports rights, ownership and structures – and every day, there’s new content on our platforms. Everything is constantly moving and I can’t wait to see what our next moves will be. I’m excited for the future at Sky.
