Legal Counsel (Jurist) for Data Protection & Compliance Processes (m/f/d)

What you’ll do

  • Your task is to independently advise different departments on questions of operational data protection compliance
  • In addition to advising the departments on product design, you'll also be involved in projects by supporting them in terms of data protection law
  • You develop and improve data protection processes with new ideas
  • You'll ensure compliance with transparency and information obligations vis-à-vis our customers and with general documentation obligations, which will enable you to make a central contribution
  • The preparation of independent expert opinions on data protection issues is also part of your daily business
What you’ll bring

  • You've successfully completed your 2nd state examination and were able to gain initial professional experience during your legal traineeship (Referendariat) – ideally in the area of data protection law
  • You're particularly interested in technical issues and IT security topics
  • You describe yourself as self-initiated and able to work under pressure, and your working methods are extremely independent and meticulous
  • Above all, your strong solution orientation as well as your pronounced sense of service and responsibility are among your strengths
  • Due to your integrity and empathy, you feel particularly at ease in a team and place great value on collegiality
  • You'll bring very good communication skills, which allow you to assert yourself in everyday working life
  • Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
