Junior Graphic Designer – limited (m/f/d)

We're looking for you to join the Picture Management Team limited to 12 months and in part-time with 20h/week

What you’ll do

  • You'll take on the creation of content visuals for Sky platforms and ensure picture quality for the best possible customer experience
  • As picture editor (m/f/d) you'll lead all aspects of the administration and clarification of usage rights with film studios and partner channels in Germany and abroad and take over the scheduling and control of projects as well as project communication with partners
  • Furthermore, the coordination and close work with internal departments and licensors lies in your hands
  • Your job includes the qualitative control and legal review of the images and their provision 
  • You'll be in charge of researching and procuring images from licensing partners in Germany and abroad, as well as on the national image market – this also covers responsibility for negotiating fees and acquiring new agencies and photographers
  • Tasks such as the administration and maintenance of files, databases and data storage, as well as information preparation, mediation and service cannot dampen your motivation
What you’ll bring

  • You're trained as a picture editor (m/f/d), media designer (m/f/d) or have a similar qualification
  • You'll bring excellent Photoshop skills and a keen sense for selecting and evaluating image material as well as expertise in image rights – your curiosity about media as well as modern information and communication solutions alongside your high affinity for film and series and also sports content cannot be overlooked
  • Important parts of your qualifications are a structured, independent, and careful way of working as well as organizational talent, accuracy, motivation & dedication, teamwork, customer orientation, communication skills, ability to work under pressure and the desire to optimize your work
  • You've initial experience in coordinating photo shoots and developing new image languages, and ideally, you already have contacts with photo agencies
  • You'd describe your knowledge of Mac and English as good, and you also have a very good command of German
