We're looking for you to join the Data Visualisation Team limited to 2 years.
What you’ll do
- You'll be part of the Data leadership team and lead the transformation of Sky to become a true data driven company by establishing and implementing innovative visualisation solutions that will meet the business requirements of our partners enabling them to view, explore and understand data
- No day is the same – you'll take care of senior stakeholders, as well as consulting and supporting our business owners with any data visualisation related topics
- Your job is to manage a team of data visualisation engineers and data analysts, ensuring that the business has all the reports and dashboards it needs to win
- Part of your tasks is defining visualisation best practices and standards, to guarantee the consistency of delivery across the team
- You'll make a contribution to build a single source of truth on a state of the art cloud based data platform
- You continuously supervise the implementation of data visualisation tools such as tableau in an agile setup
- In your role you'll collaborate closely with Data Visualisation teams in the group and synch standard methodologies
What you’ll bring
- You've a degree in Information Management, Information technology, Mathematics, Economics or similar areas and at least 6-8 years' experience working with data visualisation or reporting
- Furthermore, you've good knowledge of reporting and data visualisation tools like tableau, Business Objects, Power BI
- You'll bring a deep understanding of Big Data technologies as well as cloud platforms and SQL
- Experience with BI data bases, DWH, ODI, Exadata and Google Cloud is an advantage
- You'd describe yourself as an outstanding people leader who is able to build and lead a hard-working team of experts to be at their best together
- Creating and role modeling inclusive cultures is among your strengths
- Your drive for change and passion about data, people and processes sets you apart
- Good English skills are a matter of course for you
