What you’ll do
- You're responsible for the integration of security across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), especially in the development process itself – in addition to the pure security goals, you always have an eye on optimising and accelerating the affected processes in collaboration with the specialist departments
- You support our development teams in integrating automated security tests into their DevOps processes and development environments (e.g. SCA, SAST, DAST, IaC security tests)
- You'll make a contribution by focusing on production-relevant vulnerabilities and eliminating false positives from reports of the various static (e.g. SAST) and dynamic (e.g. DAST) security tests
- You'll drive the definition and documentation of metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle
- Supporting the technical teams in resolving risks related to an application, as well as the development teams in defining and planning security tests is part of your daily business
- In your role, you'll define cyber security solutions and tools to support activities in the DevOps context – e.g. software lifecycle, testing activities, etc. – in coordination with the Sky Group
- You'll align with relevant contacts in Germany and in the Sky Group, both within Cyber Security and with the (technical) departments, and coordinate your subject areas
What you’ll bring
- You've a university degree in IT security, computer science, or an equivalent education as well as good knowledge of DevOps principles
- Through your at least 5-6 years of work experience, you've acquired knowledge of the frameworks relevant to the role, such as OWASP and MITRE – IT security training, certifications and general DevSecOps-relevant certifications are a plus
- You've a good understanding of common programming languages (including development environments, source code management and pipelines)
- Your strengths include threat modelling and risk assessment techniques as well as current best practices and latest software for cyber security threats
- You've the ability to communicate constructively and proactively with other departments, suppliers and wider partners, respecting the needs of each role
- You describe yourself as flexible, self-starter, proactive and assertive with a strong goal orientation
- You also bring good communication and teamwork skills to the table
- A good command of English for daily use at Sky rounds off your profile
