What you’ll do
- You'll be involved in helping to formulate the cloud technology strategy to support Data and Analytics portfolios
- Defining the direction (strategy) and the approach (templates) for the implementation of data and analytical applications will be one of your main tasks
- You'll research and explore new technologies through proof of concepts to evaluate benefits and potential inclusion into the technology roadmap
- You enjoy building deep relationship with security, data governance, data engineering, platform operations, analytics and other key stakeholders to solve complex challenges by using your knowledge and skills within data architecture
- You act as a source for new ideas and contact partner for all alignments of architectural topics
- In your role as a data architect, you'll work together with the data product teams right from the concept phase and support them with architectural decisions and contribute your experience to the development of new ideas
- Part of your responsibility is to support the data product teams with actual technical solutions where needed
- In addition, you take on the role as a mentor to others in the team in architectural best practices
What you’ll bring
- You've a degree in business administration, business informatics, information design, information management or a related field
- You'll bring at least 5-6 years of experience in the area of IT- and data architectures and you're familiar with classical analytical and cloud architectures as well as DevOps, Big Data, streaming, microservices and APIs
- You're experienced in working with design tools and have good knowledge in UML and model-driven-development
- You've knowledge of data protection / GDPR requirements and the necessary means for data transfer and data storage
- The ability to analyze complex situations as well as to identify and coordinate pragmatic solutions distinguishes you
- You're able to work in an agile environment and support scrum teams with architectural designs
- Good English language skills are a matter of course for you and you enjoy working in an international environment
