What you’ll do
Your job is to process the incoming and outgoing correspondence of the internal legal department, especially from and with external lawyers and courts
You'll make enquiries about proceedings (e.g. regarding the assignment of file numbers or case handlers) with external law firms and courts in close coordination with the internal legal department
In particular, the creation and maintenance of court and procedural files is part of your daily business
You'll make a contribution to the risk management of Sky Germany through the clean and absolutely reliable monitoring of deadlines in the context of hearing and court proceedings.
No day is the same – you'll also take care of the management and control of settlements, in particular of law firms, injured parties and courts (incl. coordination of invoice processing), as well as coordination of corresponding mandate agreements with external law firms.
You're also responsible for the registry office of Sky Germanyand you'll be the first point of contact for our in-house lawyers and act as an interactive interface to various internal departments
In your role you'll support them with travel bookings, travel invoices, ordering of specialist literature, acquiring signatures for documents, forms, agreements and with the completion of all assistance task
What you’ll bring
You've completed an apprenticeship or a university degree – ideally in the commercial, financial or legal field
Training as a legal assistant (m/f/d) is a plus
You'd describe yourself as very responsible and your way of working as extremely independent, careful and structured
In addition to excellent communication skills, also with external authorities, your strengths include organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and team spirit
Your friendly professionalism and proactive service orientation will enable you to score points in your daily work, combined with the ability to maintain an overview even in stressful situations
You're an expert in MS-Office – other knowledge and tools are a plus point
In addition to your very good written and spoken German, you've a good command of English
