We're looking for you to join the CTO team limited for one year.
What you’ll do
- You're responsible for the entire Technology budget within the Technology organization – this includes budget planning, management, controlling and cost management
- In your role, you'll be the interface to Technology Management and Finance regarding IT investments and IT projects from a financial and KPI perspective
- Your tasks include the establishment and further development of Technology cost management structures and control instruments, especially for projects
- This includes the continuous review and adjustment of the internal Technology planning, budget management and controlling processes regarding the daily IT business
- You'll also be responsible for setting up and further developing IT performance management structures and key performance indicator systems, as well as developing and providing regular internal IT performance reporting for IT management (including updating and adapting data sets)
- Additionally, you'll be responsible for monitoring IT performance on the basis of KPIs, including the initiation of necessary escalation steps
- You support your process management colleagues in the creation of roadmaps and reporting based on budget planning
- Close collaboration is important to us – contact with other IT departments contributes to the continuous support of strategic decisions regarding budget and contracts
What you’ll bring
- You've a university degree with business orientation or in a similar field
- In addition, you've already gained at least 5-6 years of professional experience in the areas of Finance, (Technology) Controlling and Planning
- Your in-depth knowledge of Technology-related controlling standards and methods (financial accounting) are of advantage
- In-depth knowledge of Technology-related controlling standards & methods as well as in finance, Technology controlling & planning distinguishes you
- Ideally, you've already had experience in collaboration with Technology organizations, service delivery / outsourcing, Technology project management and Technology processes
- Your convincing appearance and assertiveness, enables you to present confidently at senior management level
- Strategic thinking and sound analytical skills are among your strengths
- Knowledge in IT contract management and procurement, as well as a deep understanding of media companies is desirable
- Your empathetic nature makes it easy for you to build and develop personal relationships with stakeholders
- The ability to produce and implement good quality results under time pressure characterizes you
- Good English skills are a matter of course for you, German skills are an advantage
