What you’ll do
- You're responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements of the individual companies, including the preparation of notes, management report and other supplementary documents
- Coordination with Management, Legal, the Accounting Shared Service Center and the Auditors is a vital aspect of your daily work
- You'll initiate accounting instructions to the Accounting Shared Service Center in relation to HGB / UGB
- You'll also support occasionally the preparation of the US GAAP reporting packages relating to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the Sky Deutschland Group
- In your role you represent the Financial Reporting & Processes department in projects
What you’ll bring
- You've a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification, e.g. qualified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), and you'll bring 6-8 years' of experience in preparing financial statements
- A very good knowledge of HGB / UGB as well as a validated knowledge of tax law are among your strengths – US GAAP knowledge is a plus
- You stand out due to your quick comprehension, high analytical and conceptual competence
- You combine your independent working style with a confident and self-assured appearance and persuasiveness
- Your strengths include excellent communication skills with a wide range of target groups and hierarchical levels as well as good presentation skills
- You'd describe yourself as very flexible with a high degree of resilience even in stressful situations
- A confident handling of MS Excel distinguishes you, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- A good command of written and spoken German & English rounds off your profile
