We're looking for you to join the Digital Sports Publishing Team limited until the 30th of June.2025.

What you’ll do

  • Your task is to write articles, live blogs, columns and others
  • Above all, conducting a large number of interviews with people from the world of sports is part of your daily business
  • You bring your own creative ideas for topics to the editorial team and actively implement these suggestions
  • You get an overview of all relevant sports topics at any time and look for creative approaches to publish these topics on our digital outlets on the web and app
  • In addition to managing and organizing content from external partners, you place this content on Sky Sport's digital platforms 
  • You are familiar with SEO and you optimize texts according to these criteria
  • You make a central contribution to the creation of moving image content and insert it into our content management systems
  • You monitor the most important social media channels in the sports sector and use them to develop stories for Sky's digital platforms.
What you’ll bring

  • You've a degree or completed training as an (online) Journalist (m/f/d)
  • Through your 2-4 years of professional experience, you¿ve been able to acquire knowledge in the use of content management systems and video post-production programs
  • You love sports and love to report about sports and your passion is to create sports content, no matter if in text, picture or video form
  • You're eager to be part of our sports-mad team and make our digital platforms skysport.de and the Sky Sport App even more successful
  • You're an expert in soccer and Formula 1, but also interested in tennis, golf and ice hockey.
  • You know how to place the content created in such a way that it can be easily found by our users and can be consumed with pleasure.
  • In sports, it's not just the results that count for you, but also the stories behind the scenes.
  • You believe, like we do, that topics like women in sports, sustainability or inclusion need to be made visible in our society
  • Above all, your teamwork and communication skills as well as your creativity and organizational skills are among your strengths
  • You describe yourself as a reliable, resilient personality
