What you’ll do
- As a product owner, you play a central role in the development process of the Sky IT systems and specify the technical requirements with a focus on customer billing and debt collection – in doing so, you always represent the customer's point of view, but also keep a close eye on the needs of the upstream and downstream interfaces and other stakeholders, and ensure sustainable process controls via reporting requirements
- Depending on the project phase, you'll take on the leadership of an agile team with the goal of generating maximum value output
- Usual activities carried out independently are in particular the definition and maintenance of user stories, the prioritisation and consideration of programme priorities and the acceptance of the user stories through validation of the Definition of Done incl. backlog maintenance
- You independently supervise the desired flow rate of the user stories, starting with their technical description, through implementation to completion, including in PI planning and within the framework of demo and retro sessions
- You'll also support the product management in planning and defining backlogs as well as the general vision of the programme
- Within the framework of the GoLive, you'll be responsible for the handover to the Operations department and remain the central contact person for process optimisation, error detection and the support of root cause analyses in coordination with the IT department
What you’ll bring
- You've a university degree or comparable training in a business or IT-related field (business administration, business informatics or similar) and knowledge in the area of finance
- You'll bring at least 5-6 years of professional experience in a comparable environment, ideally in an interface function to IT
- A strong understanding of IT systems and the technical mapping of processes in mass business, including relevant dependencies distinguishes you
- Your technical understanding helps you to formulate and communicate product requirements, and your analytical skills help you to break down the product into (dependent) sub-functions and to request control reports
- With your entrepreneurial thinking, you actively decide on the efficient use of resources and manpower
- Excellent communication skills when interacting with the various product stakeholders are among your strengths and you're decisive in implementing new or improved product features
- Your working style is characterised by initiative and responsibility
- You've already gained experience with agile methodology, e.g. working according to SAFe
- A good command of written and spoken English rounds off your profile and you enjoy working in an international environment
