We're looking for you to join the Corporate Tax, VAT, WHT Team.
What you’ll do
- You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance in the area of VAT for all German and Austrian Sky companies
- In addition to the preparation of VAT returns for the individual companies of the Sky Group and the management of appeals & support of tax audits, this also includes the review of monthly or quarterly filings in the area of VAT
- You act as a contact person – also in agreement with external consultants – in all matters of VAT law for the group companies and their departments, for individual project teams as well as for authorities in German as well as in English language
- Furthermore, monitoring of changes and developments in German and Austrian tax law with regard to indirect taxes as well as their implementation in the processes and ERP system as well as the preparation of guidelines & work instructions are part of your activities
- With your knowledge of Excel and accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), you¿ll have no problem carrying out checks and analyses of data relevant to sales tax
What you’ll bring
- You've successfully completed a degree in economics with a focus on tax law or a degree in finance and have at least 2-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the area of sales tax
- You've experienced knowledge in sales tax law as well as good accounting skills
- A confident handling of SAP HANA is one of your strengths
- You're characterized by your high affinity for numbers and strong problem-solving skills
- You'll bring strong teamwork skills, are flexible and keep a cool head even in stressful situations
- Your strong presentation skills in German and English set you apart from others
