We¿re looking for you to join the Sound Engineering Team in part time.
What you’ll do
- Your task is the preparation of audio and video feeds for broadcasting as well as conference calls with several external participants, feeds and internal switching partners
- Especially the preparation for live broadcasts and recordings, especially testing of incoming and outgoing signals, as well as n-1 paths and command connections is part of your daily business
- In your role, you'll be involved in testing and configuring conference and individual dubbing stations, operating and programming intercom systems, and programming and operating digital mixing consoles and audio routers/IP audio networks
- You'll be responsible for driving broadcasts with the support of senior sound engineers and supervisors, as well as recording and creating mixes of speakers with various feeds and IT from on-site in stereo and 5.1
- You'll be responsible for supervising and configuring the wireless microphone systems and mixing and controlling various sound options with and without interpreters
- The preparation of emergency switch-overs in case of failure of various systems in agreement with the supervisor/senior sound engineer is also part of your job description
What you’ll bring
- You've a university degree or completed training as a sound engineer or comparable degree as well as initial experience in the sound engineering department of a multi-discipline house
- You've basic musical knowledge
- You describe yourself as flexible, creative and a team player, and your working style as independent and self-reliant
- Your high sensitivity in dealing with artists sets you apart from others
- Your affinity to the topic of sports with a current reference is a plus
- Your ability to work under pressure and your phenomenal dedication as well as your willingness to work shifts and weekends characterize you
