We're looking for you to join the Cutter Team
What you’ll do
- Your task is the picture and music research as well as the editing of contributions, trailers and magazine articles for news and sports live broadcasts
- You'll supervise projects, taking into account editorial and technical standards
- In addition to audio recording (dubbing) and audio post-production, you'll also deal with of color grading (color correction) and image post-production
- The creation of texts and subtitles in the contribution is part of your daily business
- You can make your contribution by providing technical support for questions from the editors
- You're responsible for the creation of full screen graphics and belly bands (NLE) with the VizNlePlugin
- You'll also be in charge for crafting and providing content for digital distribution channels (e.g. skysport.de) or other broadcasting elements (e.g. Touch)
- You'll look after of the technical acceptance and troubleshooting of the files delivered, including color correction and loudness
- You'll be involved in the development of workflows to improve the efficiency of your work
What you’ll bring
- You've a degree in Media Technology or Media Designer Image & Sound or comparable training in the Media sector as well as first practical experience as a cutter in TV
- You've expertise in the Avid Mediacomposer program
- You've a flair for image design, editing aesthetics and dramaturgy
- You've already acquired initial expertise and technical know-how in the field of audio recording and audio post-production
- Above all, you count your willingness to work as well as your distinctive communication and team skills among your strengths
- You describe yourself as resilient and flexible, your way of working as fast and solution-oriented.
- Work shifts won't be a problem for you
- Good written and spoken German and English round off your profile
