What you’ll do
- Youll lead and mentor a large QA automation team across multiple sites and own the QA automation strategy, test design/plan, and test execution for a major strategic service delivery transformation initiative
- Most importantly, your daily business will include the implementation and evolution of formal QA practices, testing procedures, methodology, standards, and hygiene for agile development efforts
- In your role, youll have responsibility for supervising all aspects of QA, including establishing metrics, applying industry standard methodologies, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
- Developing strategy and implementing user acceptance testing in effective collaboration with the business to ensure goals are met is also part of your responsibilities
- As Head of Test Automation (m/f/d) you¿re responsible for crafting and implementing automated test scripts that are reusable in a multi-environment environment
- You'll plan all release related activities and own the automated test data creation and maintenance in multiple environments
- As an interface, you will be responsible for communicating all major project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
What you’ll bring
- You've a degree in Computer Science or similar and at least 6-8 years of experience in the software quality field including hands-on quality engineering experience
- In the past, youve already led an international team of software automation engineers across multiple locations
- Your experience with testing applications in an agile development environment sets you apart from others and you bring a good knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Appium & Maven) as well as experience with testing mobile and web applications
- You¿ve in-depth knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, User Acceptance)
- Youve experience using a metrics-based approach and closed-loop feedback to improve software products and increase predictability and reliability of releases
- Your ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and successfully complete multiple projects and/or priorities is one of your strengths
- You describe yourself as self-motivated and teamplayer (m/f/d) and your working style as independent and structured
