What you’ll do
- In your role as Manager for Health and Safety you establish and anchor a consistent and complete Health & Safety approach for the DACH region in accordance with external and internal Health & Safety standards and legal requirements
- You'll support and advise all specialist departments at all locations in DACH in the operational application and implementation of Health & Safety Management
- Your tasks include planning, implementing and maintaining the vital occupational health and safety measures, such as hazardous substance management, instructions, risk assessments, occupational health care, etc.
- Part of your responsibility is to prepare and conduct audits and inspections, but also develop and implement trainings and awareness measures as well as preparing and participating in regular occupational safety committee meetings
- Your job is supervising and reporting central measures and KPIs to the company management and the international Health & Safety organization are part of your daily business
- You'll bring good cooperation skills with you – internally and externally. You will ensure this through good internal coordination with your direct colleagues from Resilience & Security and appropriate management of our service providers
- You're an expert in planning and implementation of health management measures to promote employee health, such as company reintegration management and the underlying processes involving the divisions and employee representatives
What you’ll bring
- You've 2-4 years experience in the field of health management
- You have a degree with a specialization in occupational health management technician/engineer, economics, or a comparable commercial education
- Training as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with DGUV V2 or similar training with corresponding certificates is a plus
- Thanks to your strong teamwork, management, and organizational skills, you find it particularly easy to work with internal and external interfaces
- Your authoritative and self-confident demeanor in everyday working life, as well as your openness and passion for new insights and the continuous further development of existing processes set you apart from others
- You describe yourself as flexible, resilient, diplomatic & responsible and your way of working as high-quality, solution-oriented, and proactive
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English round off your profile
